Broccoli is nowadays available in coimbatore and we got it from farmer’s market. Vegetables are fresh there and the best time to make a purchase there is 5.30 am in the mornings. Cost is much affordable when compared to other stores in coimbatore. It is better to make a weekend early morning trip to farmer’s market and stock your refrigerator with the vegetables for a week or fortnight. We at home get vegetables only from Framer’s market except for a few like cilantro which does not stay good for long time
This Broccoli recipe is easy to make in just a few minutes with very less easily available ingredients. Marinate broccoli with all the ingredients and then toss it on high flame the side dish is ready which goes great with rice or can be had a snack on its own
Stir fried Asian style Broccoli in 3 minutes
- 1 cup Broccoli florets cut into small peices
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Fresh ground pepper powder
- 1 tsp coconut oil
Cut Broccoli into small pieces as shown in the image
Add the broccoli florets into a pan. Add salt, pepper powder and coconut oil to the pan. Toss so that broccoli is evenly coated with coconut oil, salt and pepper powder. Let it rest for 1-2 minutes.
Turn on the stove and saute the broccoli in the same pan for 2 minutes on medium heat. Stir occasionally.
Check for seasoning and add if needed. Turn Off the stove. Transfer to serving bowl
Serve immediately. Tastes awesome when served hot
